Wheaton College Visits PZC & Kyol Che Information

Posted on Feb 25 , 2011 in Blog

We had a great show of people for our public vegetarian dinner and meditation instruction last night. A large class of students from Wheaton College came to learn about the Zen Center and Buddhism. They asked a lot of wonderful questions and brought good energy that filled the room. Troy was working hard in the kitchen and cooked us an awesome meal. It was great to have so many people chanting during practice. Scott gave us a wonderful and clear Dharma talk while Nancy Hedgpeth, JDPSN one of our co-guiding teachers answered questions for us. Right now Nancy is also leading our three month long Kyol Che retreat. If you’d like to participate in Kyol Che:

Entry is on Saturdays at 8:00am, exit is on Saturdays at 8:00am. Minimum participation is one week.

Nancy Hedgpeth, JDPSN has been a student of Zen Master Seung Sahn since 1979 and received inka in July 1994. She has held many positions at our New Haven, Providence and Cambridge Zen Centers, and has done long retreats in the U.S. and Korea.
